Josiah F. Quincy School
Boston, Massachusetts

Joint-use community center with school for 820 students, recreation, public spaces and community facilities. The school is comprised of four open-plan sub-schools clustered around a media center and central support facilities. To maximize use of the restricted site the roof is developed into play areas. This design was developed for Public Facilities Department, City of Boston, by the Principals of Architecture International when they were at The Architects Collaborative.
