John P. Sheehy   FAIA, RIBA

Known worldwide for his expertise in the design of high-rise mixed-use commercial projects, Mr. Sheehy has been the recipient of prestigious architectural design awards throughout his career.  He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Significant work includes Boston’s Copley  Place;  801  Tower,  Los  Angeles;  the Johns-Manville  World  Headquarters,  Denver; Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government; Soma Grand, San Francisco; and The Essex on Lake Merritt, Oakland.  Mr. Sheehy has lectured at the Smithsonian Institute, MIT School of Real Estate, has been a design critic at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and is a Practicum Associate Professor at the University Of Hawaii School Of Architecture. Prior to founding Architecture International in 1994, he was a Principal with The Architects Collaborative in Boston and San Francisco.
